A rainwater conveyance system for managing water flowing through a conveyance line having a first portion located above ground and a second portion located underground and adjacent to a percolation region. The rainwater conveyance system comprises a drain emitter comprising an emitter inlet and an emitter outlet. The emitter inlet is connected to the conveyance line such that the collected water flows into the drain emitter and a drained portion of the collected water flows from the second portion of the conveyance line and through the emitter outlet at a preset emitter flow rate. The drain emitter is arranged such that the drained portion of the standing water flows to the percolation region. The preset emitter flow rate is predetermined such that the drained portion of the collected water flows out of the conveyance line and percolates through the percolation region.
A rainwater conveyance system for managing water flowing through a conveyance line, where the conveyance line defines a first conveyance line portion connected to a source of water, a second conveyance line portion connected to the first conveyance line portion, and a third conveyance line portion connected to the second conveyance line portion and a destination inlet, where at least portion of the first conveyance line portion is located above ground, the second conveyance line portion is located underground and adjacent to a percolation region in the ground, and at least a portion of the third conveyance line portion is located above ground, where a standing portion of collected water flowing into the conveyance line from the source of water is arranged within the first conveyance line portion and the third conveyance line portion, the rainwater conveyance system comprising:
An emitter system for removing standing water from a conveyance line operatively connected to a gutter, where at least a first portion of the conveyance line is located above ground and at least a second portion of the conveyance line is underground and adjacent to a percolation region in the ground, where the standing water is arranged within the first portion of the conveyance line, the emitter system comprising:
A method of removing standing water from a conveyance line operatively connected to a downspout, where at least a portion of the conveyance line is underground and adjacent to a percolation region in the ground, where a standing portion of collected water flowing into the conveyance line through the downspout is in the conveyance line above ground, the method comprising the steps of:
A rainwater conveyance system for managing collected water flowing through a conveyance line, where a first portion of the conveyance line is located above ground and a second portion of the conveyance line is located underground and adjacent to a percolation region in the ground, where a standing portion of the collected water is in the first portion of the conveyance line, the rainwater conveyance system comprising:
