Abstract
A vehicle and an acceleration limit control method thereof, includes obtaining a driving score of a driver, determining a driving score change amount of the driver based on traveling information measured or generated when the vehicle is driving, determining a current driving score based on the determined change amount of the driving score and the obtained driving score, and setting an acceleration limit level or changing a preset acceleration limit level based on the determined current driving score.
Claims19
An acceleration limit control method of a vehicle, the method comprising:
- obtaining a driving score of a driver in the vehicle;
- determining a driving score change amount of the driver based on traveling information measured or generated when the vehicle is driving;
- determining a current driving score based on the determined driving score change amount and the obtained driving score;
- and
- setting an acceleration limit level or changing a preset acceleration limit level based on the determined current driving score;
- and
- outputting limited acceleration by a vehicle control unit according to the acceleration limit level set or changed, to actually limit acceleration by an acceleration limit device,
- wherein the acceleration limit level is divided into driving score ranges by level, and
- wherein the same acceleration limit level is applied within the same driving score range.
A vehicle comprising:
- a driving score recognition unit configured for obtaining a driving score of a driver in the vehicle;
- a driving score calculation unit configured for determining a driving score change amount of the driver based on traveling information measured or generated when the vehicle is driving;
- a driving score determining unit configured for determining a current driving score based on the determined driving score change amount and the obtained driving score;
- an acceleration limit setting unit configured for setting an acceleration limit level or changing a preset acceleration limit level based on the determined current driving score for acceleration of the vehicle to be limited in a stepwise manner;
- and
- a vehicle control unit configured for outputting limited acceleration according to the acceleration limit level set or changed, to actually limit acceleration by an acceleration limit device,
- wherein the acceleration limit level is divided into driving score ranges by level, and
- wherein the same acceleration limit level is applied within the same driving score range.
