Abstract
A bassinet includes a frame unit, two legs pivotally connected to the frame unit, a bottom plate disposed between the legs, and a lower limiting mechanism disposed on at least one of the legs. The bottom plate is detachably connected to the legs via the lower limiting mechanism. Another bassinet includes the frame unit, four of the legs pivotally connected to the frame unit and disposed angularly spaced apart from each other, an upper limiting mechanism disposed on at least one of the frame unit and the legs for limiting pivotal movement of the legs away from each other, and the bottom plate detachably connected to the legs to exert forces pushing the legs away from each other.
Claims15
A bassinet comprising:
- a frame unit;
- two legs that are pivotally connected to said frame unit;
- a bottom plate that is disposed between said legs;
- and a lower limiting mechanism that is disposed on at least one of said legs;
- wherein said bottom plate is detachably connected to said legs via said lower limiting mechanism, the lower limiting mechanism comprising a first lower limiting member disposed on a respective leg and includes a protrusion and a cover door movable relative to said protrusion to cover said protrusion, wherein the first lower limiting member is disposed on one of said legs, the lower limiting mechanism further comprising a second lower limiting member that is disposed on the bottom plate, the second lower limiting member including a protruding block, the protruding block having an engagement hole, the protrusion of the first lower limiting member being detachably engaged with said engagement hole.
A bassinet adapted to be detachably connected to a playard, said bassinet comprising:
- a frame unit;
- at least one leg pivotally connected to said frame unit, the at least one leg being configured to pivot between an upright position, in which the bassinet has an upright height, and a collapsed position, in which the bassinet has a collapsed height that is less than the upright height;
- a bottom plate connected to the at least one leg, the bottom plate defining a bottom side of the bassinet;
- and
- at least one bassinet connector connected to the at least one leg, the at least one bassinet connector being adapted to detachably engage with the playard, the bottom plate being positioned vertically beneath the at least one bassinet connector such that the bottom plate is receivable within an interior of the playard when the at least one bassinet connector is engaged with the playard.
A bassinet comprising:
- a frame unit;
- two legs that are pivotally connected to said frame unit, wherein each of the two legs is a monolithic piece made of one of plastic and metal, and is adapted to be detachably connected to a top rail of the playard;
- a bottom plate that is disposed between said legs;
- and
- a lower limiting mechanism that is disposed on at least one of said legs;
- wherein said bottom plate is detachably connected to said legs via said lower limiting mechanism,
- the lower limiting mechanism comprising a first lower limiting member disposed on a respective leg and includes a protrusion and a cover door movable relative to said protrusion to cover said protrusion.
