Multi-location load control system

An electric load control method, comprising:

• providing, by electric load controller control circuitry, a drive signal to a controllably conductive device to adjust power delivered by an alternating current (AC) source to an electric load device using a phase-controlled voltage;
• receiving, by the electric load controller control circuitry from multi-location circuitry, a multi-location signal that includes a scaled version of the an accessory dimmer voltage received from an accessory dimmer;
• sampling, by the electric load controller control circuitry, the received multi-location signal over a plurality of AC source half cycles;
• detecting, by the electric load controller control circuitry, one of a plurality of patterns in the multi-location signal samples over the plurality of AC source half cycles;
• and
• adjusting, by the electric load controller control circuitry, the drive signal to the controllably conductive device responsive to the detection of one of the plurality of patterns in the multi-location signal samples over the plurality of AC source half cycles.

A non-transitory, machine-readable, storage device that includes instructions that, when executed by electric load controller control circuitry, cause the control circuitry to:

• provide a drive signal to a controllably conductive device to adjust power delivered by an alternating current (AC) source to an electric load device using a phase-controlled voltage;
• receive, from multi-location circuitry, a multi-location signal that includes a scaled version of an accessory dimmer voltage received from an accessory dimmer;
• sample the received multi-location signal over a plurality of AC source half cycles;
• detect one of a plurality of patterns in the multi-location signal samples over the plurality of AC source half cycles;
• and
• adjust the drive signal to the controllably conductive device responsive to the detection of one of the plurality of patterns in the multi-location signal samples over the plurality of AC source half cycles.
