Information processing apparatus, information processing system, and information processing method for counting usage history of component

An information processing apparatus comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• circuitry configured to:
• execute a predetermined workflow including a plurality of components,
• receive the predetermined workflow and billing setting information indicating a billing destination, the billing setting information being selected by a user, and the billing destination being a target to be billed for an execution of the component included in the predetermined workflow;
• store the predetermined workflow received in association with the billing setting information indicating the billing destination;
• identify at least one component to be counted among the plurality of the components that are executed in the predetermined workflow, and
• count, in association with the billing destination, usage history of the at least one component that is to be counted,
• wherein the plurality of the components includes the at least one component to be counted and at least one component not to be counted,
• wherein the circuitry is configured to:
• transmit to a user terminal through a communication network, input screen information for displaying an input screen on a display of the user terminal, the input screen associating the billing setting information indicating the billing destination with the plurality of the components included in the predetermined workflow;
• and
• in response to receiving information that is generated according to an operation on the input screen displayed on the display of the user terminal based on the input screen information, set, based on the information, the at least one component that is to be counted among the plurality of the components.
