Textile article and method for the production and disassembly of a textile article

A method for the disassembly of a textile article, wherein the textile article can be disassembled automatically or semi-automatically and thus recycled or reused,

• wherein the textile article comprises at least two individual pieces,
• wherein the at least two individual pieces are attached to each other by at least one stitch,
• wherein the at least one stitch is selected from the group consisting of a chain stitch, a lock stitch, an overlock stitch, and a cover stitch,
• wherein the at least one stitch comprises at least one melt yarn,
• wherein the melt yarn has a melting temperature, and in which the melt yarn transitions from a solid phase to a liquid or semi-liquid phase at a temperature that is equal to or higher than the melting temperature of the melt yarn, and
• using heat to dissemble at least one of the melt yarn and the textile article to a temperature that is equal to or higher than said melting temperature of the melt yarn, and wherein the textile article is shaken or moved during the heating to aid in the disassembly of the textile article.
