Container for flowers and method of operation thereof

A container, comprising:

• a platform configured to be coupled to at least one flower;
• a body having at least one wall extending between a top edge and a bottom edge and defining at least a portion of a cavity configured to receive the platform, the top edge defining a first opening leading to the cavity;
• a bottom wall at or near the bottom edge of the body and defining a second opening leading to the cavity;
• and
• at least one tensioner coupled to the platform and forming at least one tab partially extending from the platform towards the bottom wall, the at least one tab configured to be grasped by a user to urge at least a portion of the platform from the cavity towards the second opening when the at least one tab is pulled.

A container, comprising:

• a platform configured to be coupled to at least one flower;
• a body having at least one wall extending between a top edge and a bottom edge and defining at least a portion of a cavity configured to receive the platform, the top edge defining a first opening leading to the cavity;
• a bottom wall at or near the bottom edge of the body and defining at least one opening opposite the first opening;
• and
• at least one tensioner coupled to the platform and configured to pass through the at least one opening of the bottom wall, the at least one tensioner forming a tab configured be grasped by a user to urge at least a portion of the platform from the cavity towards the bottom wall when the tab is pulled.
