Headrest device for vehicle

A headrest device for a vehicle, the headrest device comprising:

• a stationary headrest portion coupled to a seatback of the vehicle and formed to extend upwards, the stationary headrest portion being located at a rear of a head of an occupant;
• a movable headrest portion coupled to the stationary headrest portion so as to be slidable in a vertical direction, the movable headrest portion being located in front of the stationary headrest portion;
• and
• an actuator comprising:
• a first side coupled to the stationary headrest portion, and
• a second side coupled to the movable headrest portion,
• wherein the actuator is configured to cause the movable headrest portion to slide in the vertical direction,
• wherein the actuator further comprises:
• a driving motor comprising a rotation shaft, wherein the driving motor is coupled to the stationary headrest portion, and wherein the driving motor is configured to rotate the rotation shaft;
• a lead screw coupled to the rotation shaft of the driving motor and formed to extend in the vertical direction;
• and
• a carrier comprising:
• a first side coupled to the lead screw and configured to move in the vertical direction according to rotation of the lead screw, and
• a second side coupled to the movable headrest portion, and
• wherein the actuator further comprises a motor cover coupled to the stationary headrest portion and formed to at least partially cover an upper surface of the driving motor on which the lead screw is disposed, the motor cover comprising an opening through which the lead screw penetrates.
