Abstract
A surgical robotic system includes a ceiling mount assembly including a bracket configured to be fixed to a ceiling, and an elongate body extending horizontally from the bracket and defining a longitudinally-extending track. The surgical robotic system further includes a plurality of robotic arms coupled to a ceiling of an operating room via the ceiling mount assembly, wherein the plurality of robotic arms is configured to move along a horizontal axis defined by the track.
Claims18
A surgical robotic system, comprising:
- a ceiling mount assembly including:
- a bracket configured to be fixed to a ceiling;
- and
- an elongate body extending horizontally from the bracket and defining a longitudinally-extending track, wherein the elongate body has a first end portion rotationally coupled to the bracket;
- and
- a plurality of robotic arms coupled to the track of the elongate body, wherein the plurality of robotic arms is configured to move along a horizontal axis defined by the track, wherein swiveling of the elongate body relative to the bracket adjusts a circumferential position of the plurality of robotic arms about the bracket.

A surgical robotic system, comprising:
- a ceiling mount assembly including:
- a bracket fixed to a ceiling;
- and
- an elongate body extending horizontally from the bracket and defining a longitudinally-extending track, wherein the elongate body has a first end portion rotationally coupled to the bracket;
- and
- a pair of robotic arms coupled to the track of the elongate body, wherein each robotic arm is configured to move along a horizontal axis defined by the track, wherein rotating the elongate body relative to the bracket adjusts a circumferential position of the pair of robotic arms about the bracket.
