Abstract
Disclosed herein are method and/or kit for rendering a diagnosis on whether a subject is suffering from peripheral neuropathy pain. The method comprises detecting the presence of advillin in a biological sample by forming an immune complex between advillin and a monoclonal antibody specifically binds thereto. Also disclosed herein is a method of treating a subject suffering from peripheral neuropathy pain.
Claims3
A monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to an epitope of advillin comprising,
- a heavy chain variable region comprising a heavy chain complementarity-determining region 1 (HCDR1), a HCDR2, and a HCDR3 having the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs:
- 22, 24, and 26, respectively;
- and
- a light chain variable region comprising a light chain complementarity-determining region 1 (LCDR1), a LCDR2, and a LCDR3 having the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOS:
- 30, 32, and 34, respectively.
