Abstract
The invention relates to the field of molecular biology and particularly novel genes that encode pesticidal proteins useful for controlling pests, particularly plant pests. These proteins and the nucleic acid sequences that encode them are useful in preparing pesticidal compositions and in the production of transgenic pest-resistant plants.
Claims8
A vector comprising two nucleic acid sequences, wherein a first nucleic acid sequence encodes a first protein having at least 95% identity to SEQ ID NO:
- 1 and a second nucleic acid sequence encodes a second protein having at least 95% identity to SEQ ID NO:
- 2 and wherein each of the nucleic acid sequences is operably linked to a different promoter.
A transgenic plant comprising two nucleic acid sequences that have been introduced into said plant, wherein a first nucleic acid sequence encodes a first protein having at least 95% identity to SEQ ID NO:
- 1 and a second the nucleic acid sequence encodes a second protein having at least 95% identity to SEQ ID NO:
- 2 and wherein each of the nucleic acid sequences is operably linked to a different promoter.
