Bicycle part and method of forming bicycle part

A bicycle part comprising:

• a housing includes an inner peripheral portion at least partially defining an area, an outer peripheral portion spaced radially outward from the inner peripheral portion with respect to a center axis of the area, an end wall portion interconnecting the inner peripheral portion and the outer peripheral portion to at least partly define an internal space, and a connecting portion interconnecting the inner peripheral portion and the outer peripheral portion;
• and
• a lid overlying the internal space of the housing, the lid being joined to the inner peripheral portion of the housing by welding along an inner weld path, the lid being joined to the outer peripheral portion of the housing by welding along an outer weld path, the lid being joined to at least part of the connecting portion of the housing by welding along a connecting weld path connecting the inner weld path and the outer weld path,
• the inner weld path, the outer weld path, and the connecting weld path forming a continuous weld path.
