Slideable substrate deposition device

An apparatus comprising:

• a rectangular frame having a first edge, a second edge, a third edge and a fourth edge;
• a first rail and a second rail attached between the first edge and the second edge;
• a first support bracket and a second support bracket mounted on the first rail and the second rail, wherein the first support bracket and the second support bracket are disposed between the first rail and the second rail, and wherein at least one of the first support bracket and the second support bracket is configured to slide on the first rail and the second rail;
• a first carriage comprising a first horizontal arm and a first vertical arm, wherein a first vertical arm bottom end is pivotally attached to the first support bracket and a first vertical arm top end is rigidly attached to the first horizontal arm;
• and
• a second carriage comprising a second horizontal arm and a second vertical arm, wherein a second vertical arm bottom end is pivotally attached to the second support bracket and a second vertical arm top end is rigidly attached to the second horizontal arm.

An apparatus comprising:

• a rectangular frame having a first edge, a second edge, a third edge and a fourth edge;
• a first rail and a second rail attached between the first edge and the second edge;
• a first support bracket and a second support bracket mounted on the first rail and the second rail, wherein the first support bracket and the second support bracket are disposed between the first rail and the second rail, and wherein at least one of the first support bracket and the second support bracket is configured to slide on the first rail and the second rail;
• a first carriage comprising a first horizontal arm and a first vertical arm, wherein a first vertical arm bottom end is pivotally attached to the first support bracket and a first vertical arm top end is rigidly attached to the first horizontal arm;
• a second carriage comprising a second horizontal arm and a second vertical arm, wherein a second vertical arm bottom end is pivotally attached to the second support bracket and a second vertical arm top end is rigidly attached to the second horizontal arm;
• a first gripping pad disposed on a first edge of the first horizontal arm facing the second horizontal arm;
• a second gripping pad disposed on a second edge of the second horizontal arm facing the first horizontal arm;
• and
• a base plate disposed between the first support bracket and the second support bracket, wherein a base plate longitudinal axis is parallel to the first edge and the second edge.
