Absorbent article

An absorbent article comprising:

• an absorber;
• and a liquid pervious top sheet disposed on a front surface side of the absorber, wherein
• the absorber includes an upper auxiliary layer disposed at an uppermost portion and a main absorption layer disposed on a back surface side of the upper auxiliary layer,
• the upper auxiliary layer includes a super absorbent nonwoven fabric having a surface exposed on an uppermost surface of the absorber and having a Klemm water absorptiveness of 100 mm or more, and first super absorbent polymer particles adjacent to a back surface of the super absorbent nonwoven fabric,
• the main absorption layer is a cell absorbing sheet including a liquid pervious upper sheet and a lower sheet, cells which are portions surrounded by bonded portions of the upper sheet and the lower sheet and in which the upper sheet and the lower sheet are not bonded to each other, and a particulate material which contains second super absorbent polymer particles and which is contained in the cells,
• the cells are arranged at intervals in the cell absorbing sheet,
• the first super absorbent polymer particles are fixed to an upper surface of the upper sheet of the main absorption layer with an adhesive,
• the upper sheet is formed of a short fiber nonwoven fabric and has a larger amount of fuzz on the upper surface thereof than a lower surface thereof, and
• the adhesive is applied to the upper surface of the upper sheet in an intermittent pattern at an application rate of 4 to 10 g/m2.
