Abstract
In one example, a method comprises: receiving a voltage from a power converter, and generating a comparison result representing a comparison between the voltage and a voltage threshold. The method further comprises providing one of a first current reference or a second current reference to the power converter responsive to the comparison result, in which the first and second current references represent different current levels.

A method, comprising:
- receiving a voltage from a power converter;
- generating a comparison result representing a comparison between the voltage and multiple voltage ranges;
- and
- providing a current reference based on the comparison result to the power converter.

- a voltage detector having a voltage detection input and a control output, the voltage detection input coupled to a power converter, and the voltage detector configured to:
- receive a voltage at the voltage detection input;
- generate a comparison result representing a comparison between the voltage and multiple voltage ranges;
- and
- generate a control signal based on the comparison result;
- a current reference circuit having a control input and a current reference output, the control input coupled to the control output, the current reference output coupled to the power converter, and the current reference circuit configured to:
- receive the control signal at the control input;
- and
- provide a current reference based on the control signal.
