Exclusion device covers and related methods

An exclusion device, comprising:

• a first beam;
• a second beam operatively coupled to the first beam by a first spring, the first spring being deformable between a first position and a second position, where the first position spaces the first beam and the second beam by a first distance, and where the second position spaces the first beam and the second beam by a second distance, where the first distance is greater than the second distance;
• and
• a biocompatible cover longitudinally circumscribing the spring and at least a portion of the first and second beams;
• wherein a first portion of the biocompatible cover is configured to at least double its widthwise dimension, perpendicular to a longitudinal dimension, responsive to the first spring moving between the first position and the second position, and where a second portion of the biocompatible cover generally maintains its widthwise dimension responsive to the first spring moving between the first position and the second position.
