The first and second rear-facing hooks are disposed on opposite ends of the support surface.
Claims19
A track in combination with a structure for mounting devices onto the structure, the track comprising:
- a support surface that is directly mounted to the structure, the support surface having a front-facing surface and an opposing rear-facing surface on a rear side of the track, wherein the rear-facing surface of the support surface abuts the structure;
- a first rear-facing hook disposed on a top edge of the track that bends toward the rear side of the track;
- a second rear-facing hook disposed on a bottom edge of the track that bends toward the rear side of the track;
- wherein the first rear-facing hook and the second rear-facing hook are disposed on opposite ends of the support surface;
- and
- wherein the top edge and the bottom edge each terminate at a point that is located forward from the front-facing surface of the support surface.

- a support surface that is directly mounted to the structure, the support surface having a front-facing surface and an opposing rear-facing surface;
- a top edge of the support surface comprising a first rear-facing hook that bends toward a rear side of the track;
- a bottom edge of the support surface comprising a second rear-facing hook that bends toward the rear side of the track;
- wherein the top edge and the bottom edge end at locations that are forward from the support surface;
- a cover;
- a cavity defined by at least a portion of the front-facing surface of the support surface, the first hook and the second hook;
- and
- wherein the first rear-facing hook and the second rear-facing hook are disposed on opposite ends of the support surface;
- and
- wherein the cavity is sized and dimensioned to receive the cover to thereby hide at least a portion of the cavity when viewed from a front side, wherein, in use, the cover is received on the front-facing surface of the support surface.
