Abstract
One example may include a method that includes initiating an audio recording to capture audio data, comparing the audio data received from a microphone of a mobile device to an audio data range, determining whether the audio data is above an optimal level based on a result of the comparison, and queuing the audio data in an audio data queue when the audio data is above the optimal level.
Claims18
A method comprising:
- receiving, at a server, audio data messages comprising audio data of an audio recording, hardware information of a mobile device associated with the recording, and location information identifying a location of the mobile device;
- determining, via the server, a model of the mobile device based on the hardware identification information included in the received audio data messages;
- applying, via the server, one or more filters, gains, frequency range and amplitude range to the audio data based on audio characteristics of the determined model of the mobile device;
- determining, via the server, the audio data is above an optimal level based on a result of a comparison of the audio data to an audio data range being within a margin of an expected audio data range;
- and
- queuing, via the server, the audio data in an audio data queue when the audio data is above the optimal level.
An apparatus comprising
- a processor configured to
- receive audio data messages comprising audio data captured by a mobile device, hardware information of the mobile device, and location information identifying a location of the mobile device;
- determine a model of the mobile device based on the hardware identification information included in the received audio data messages;
- apply one or more filters, gains, frequency range and amplitude range to the audio data based on audio characteristics of the determined model of the mobile device;
- determine the audio data is above an optimal level based on a result of a comparison of the audio data to an audio data range being within a margin of an expected audio data range;
- and
- queue the audio data in an audio data queue when the audio data is above the optimal level.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium configured to store instructions that when executed cause a processor to perform:
- receiving, at a server, audio data messages comprising audio data of an audio recording, hardware information of a mobile device associated with the recording, and location information identifying a location of the mobile device;
- determining, via the server, a model of the mobile device based on the hardware identification information included in the received audio data messages;
- applying, via the server, one or more filters, gains, frequency range and amplitude range to the audio data based on audio characteristics of the determined model of the mobile device;
- determining, via the server, the audio data is above an optimal level based on a result of a comparison of the audio data to an audio data range being within a margin of an expected audio data range;
- and
- queuing, via the server, the audio data in an audio data queue when the audio data is above the optimal level.
