Abstract
The present invention provides a lyocell fiber with increased water retention value and decreased crystallinity as well as a method for producing same and products comprising same.
Claims22
A lyocell fiber with a water retention value (WRV) of at least 70% and a crystallinity of 40% or less, wherein hemicellulose of the lyocell fiber has a ratio of xylan to mannan hemicelluloses of from 125:1 to 1:3.
