Mounting assembly for a magnetic field generator

A mounting assembly comprising:

• a mounting apparatus including:
• a first arm extending between a first end and a second end;
• a second arm extending between a third end and a fourth end, wherein the first and second arms are each transitionable between an extended position and a contracted position, wherein the first and second arms are each biased towards the contracted position, and wherein the first, second, third, and fourth ends are configured to engage a patient table as the first and second arms transition from the extended position to the contracted position;
• and
• at least one coupling rod coupled between the first arm and the second arm;
• and
• first and second side rails configured to be attached to the mounting apparatus and configured to be attached to medical equipment.

A mounting apparatus comprising:

• a first arm;
• a second arm, wherein the first and second arms are each transitionable between an extended position and a contracted position;
• a first tensioning member positioned along the first arm;
• a second tensioning member positioned along the second arm, the first and second tensioning members biasing the first and second arms, respectively, towards the contracted position, wherein the first and second tensioning members each include a tensioning band;
• and
• at least one coupling rod coupled between the first arm and the second arm.
