Abstract
A system for reducing noise for a user includes a first detector configured to generate a first noise signal, wherein the first noise signal is a representation of a first noise that is transmitted to the user through a first sound pathway, and a second detector configured to generate a second noise signal, wherein the second noise signal indicates a second noise perceived by the user. The system also includes a processor configured to determine a noise correction signal based on the first noise signal and/or the second noise signal, and a speaker configured to generate a sound for reducing the noise based on the noise correction signal.
Claims20
A system for reducing noise, comprising:
- a first detector configured to detect a noise transmitted to a user from a first sound pathway, and determine a noise signal for representing the noise;
- a second detector configured to determine an error signal;
- a processor configured to determine a noise correction signal based on the error signal, the noise signal, and a time difference between a first time and a second time;
- and
- a bone conduction speaker configured to generate a sound based on the noise correction signal, wherein the sound is used to reduce the noise and is transmitted to the user through a second sound pathway, the first time is associated with the first sound pathway, and the second time is associated with the second sound pathway.
A method for reducing noise, comprising:
- determining a noise signal by detecting, by a detector, a noise transmitted to a user from a first sound pathway;
- determining a noise correction signal, by a processor, based on an adaptive adjustment process, the noise signal, and a time difference between a first time and a second time;
- and
- generating a sound, by a bone conduction speaker, based on the noise correction signal, wherein the sound is used to reduce the noise and is transmitted to the user through a second sound pathway, the first time is associated with the first sound pathway, and the second time is associated with the second sound pathway.
A system for reducing noise, comprising:
- a detector configured to generate a noise signal, wherein the noise signal indicates a second noise perceived by a user and the second noise includes a residual sound in an inner ear of the user;
- a processor configured to determine a noise correction signal based on the noise signal and a time difference between a reference value and a transmission time associated with a bone conduction pathway;
- and
- a speaker configured to generate a sound based on the noise correction signal, wherein the sound is transmitted to the user through the bone conduction pathway.
