## Abstract

Systems and methods for entity item matching include, responsive to identifying a workflow, monitoring one or more first entity items of a first entity item type for updates to one or more first field-value pairs; determining, subsequent to processing a first monitored item of a plurality of monitored items, an update to a first field-value pair of a first entity item of the first entity item type; responsive to determining that the update matches a corresponding field-value pair of the first monitored item, matching the first entity item with the first monitored item by performing a lookup in the first monitored item for a field-value pair matching the update to the first field-value pair; and performing a first action specified in the workflow on the first monitored item using data corresponding to the update in the first field-value pair of the first entity item matched with the first monitored item.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method comprising:
responsive to identifying a workflow (i) specifying a first entity item type including one or more first field-value pairs that can be matched to a monitored item of a plurality of monitored items, and ii) configured to cause one or more processors to perform one or more actions responsive to an update to one or more first field-value pairs of a first entity item of the first entity item type, monitoring, by the one or more processors, one or more first entity items of the first entity item type for updates to the one or more first field-value pairs;
determining, by the one or more processors and subsequent to processing a first monitored item of the plurality of monitored items, an update to a first field-value pair of a first entity item of the first entity item type;
responsive to determining that the update to the first field-value pair included in the first entity item matches a corresponding field-value pair of the first monitored item, matching, by the one or more processors, the first entity item with the first monitored item by performing a lookup in the first monitored item for a field-value pair that matches the update to the first field-value pair; and
performing, by the one or more processors, a first action specified in the workflow on the first monitored item using data corresponding to the update in the first field-value pair of the first entity item matched with the first monitored item.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein determining the update to the first field-value pair comprises detecting a new item in a data source.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein performing the first action comprises writing an identifier of the matched first entity item into the first monitored item.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, further comprising:
detecting, by the one or more processors, a second update to a second-field value pair of the matched first entity item; and
updating, by the one or more processors, a corresponding field-value pair of the first monitored item with the second update based on the first entity item matching with the first monitored item.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein performing the first action comprises transmitting instructions to a data source to store data from the first entity item.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the plurality of monitored items are identified in the workflow, and wherein performing the lookup comprises performing the lookup in each of the plurality of monitored items.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein performing the first action comprises adding a new field-value pair to the monitored item.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein adding the new field-value pair is performed in response to determining the first entity item has a field-value pair that does not correspond to any field-value pairs of the first monitored item.

### Claim 9

A system comprising:
one or more processors configured by machine-readable instructions to:
responsive to identifying a workflow (i) specifying a first entity item type including one or more first field-value pairs that can be matched to a monitored item of a plurality of monitored items, and ii) configured to cause one or more processors to perform one or more actions responsive to an update to one or more first field-value pairs of a first entity item of the first entity item type, monitor one or more first entity items of the first entity item type for updates to the one or more first field-value pairs;
determine, subsequent to processing a first monitored item of the plurality of monitored items, an update to a first field-value pair of a first entity item of the first entity item type;
responsive to determining that the update to the first field-value pair included in the first entity item matches a corresponding field-value pair of the first monitored item, match the first entity item with the first monitored item by performing a lookup in the first monitored item for a field-value pair that matches the update to the first field-value pair; and
perform a first action specified in the workflow on the first monitored item using data corresponding to the update in the first field-value pair of the first entity item matched with the first monitored item.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, wherein the one or more processors are configured to determine the update to the first field-value pair by detecting a new item in a data source.

### Claim 11 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, wherein the one or more processors are configured to perform the first action by writing an identifier of the matched first entity item into the first monitored item.

### Claim 12 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to detect a second update to a second-field value pair of the matched first entity item.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The system of claim 12, wherein the one or more processors are further configured to update a corresponding field-value pair of the first monitored item with the second update based on the first entity item matching with the first monitored item.

### Claim 14 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, wherein the one or more processors are configured to perform the first action by transmitting instructions to a data source to store data from the first entity item.

### Claim 15 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, wherein the plurality of monitored items are identified in the workflow, and wherein the one or more processors are configured to perform the lookup by performing the lookup in each of the plurality of monitored items.

### Claim 16 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, wherein the one or more processors are configured to perform the first action by adding a new field-value pair to the monitored item.

### Claim 17 (depends on 9)

### Claim 18

A method comprising:
identifying, by one or more processors, a workflow including a first data source and a monitored item type, the workflow specifying i) a second data source and a condition for identifying a second item included in the second data source to match with a corresponding monitored item received from the first data source, and ii) an action to be performed subsequent to the condition being satisfied;
