Abstract
A process for producing isomerized olefins, branched aldehydes, branched alcohols, branched surfactants and other branched derivatives through isomerization, hydroformylation, hydrogenation, surfactant forming reactions and other derivative forming reactions.

A composition, comprising:
- a mixture of C7-C37 aldehydes,
- wherein less than 60 wt. % of the mixture of C7-C37 aldehydes are linear aldehydes,
- wherein greater than 25 wt. % of the mixture of C7-C37 aldehydes are 2-methyl branched aldehydes, and
- wherein greater than 8 wt. % of the mixture of C7-C37 aldehydes are 2-ethyl branched aldehydes, and
- wherein the mixture of C7-C37 aldehydes has aldehydes of at least two different chain lengths.

- a mixture of C7-C37 aldehydes,
