## Abstract

Systems and processes for user configurable task triggers are provided. In one example, at least one user input, including a selection of at least one condition of a plurality of conditions and a selection of at least one task of a plurality of tasks, is received. Stored context data corresponding to an electronic device is received. A determination is whether the stored context data indicates an occurrence of the at least one selected condition. In response to determining that the stored context data indicates an occurrence of the at least one selected condition, the at least one selected task associated with the at least one selected condition is performed.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An electronic device, comprising:
one or more processors;
a memory; and
one or more programs, wherein the one or more programs are stored in the memory and configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for:
receiving a single user input including a selection of a first condition and a selection of first task associated with the first condition, wherein:
the first condition includes a location state change to a home location of a first user; and
the first task includes sending a message to a second user, wherein the single user input further includes message text to be included in the message to the second user;
retrieving stored context data corresponding to the electronic device, wherein the stored context data includes current location information;
determining that the current location information included in the stored context data indicates an occurrence of the first condition; and
in response to determining that the stored context data indicates the occurrence of the first condition, performing the first task associated with the first condition.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the current location information includes a GPS location.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the stored context data includes information from a Bluetooth connection.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the stored context data includes information from a near-field communication tag.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the stored context data includes information from a vehicle.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the single user input includes a selection indicating the second user.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein performing the first task associated with the first condition includes providing an indication corresponding to the first task.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein performing the first task associated with the first condition includes:
providing an output associated with at least one parameter of the first task;
receiving a second user input responsive to the output.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the current location data includes information from a WiFi network.

### Claim 10

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs, the one or more programs comprising instructions, which when executed by one or more processors of an electronic device, cause the electronic device to:
receive a single user input including a selection of a first condition and a selection of first task associated with the first condition, wherein:
the first condition includes a location state change to a home location of a first user; and
the first task includes sending a message to a second user, wherein the single user input further includes message text to be included in the message to the second user;
retrieve stored context data corresponding to the electronic device, wherein the stored context data includes current location information;
determine that the current location information included in the stored context data indicates an occurrence of the first condition; and
in response to determining that the stored context data indicates the occurrence of the first condition, perform the first task associated with the first condition.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 10, wherein the current location information includes a GPS location.

### Claim 12 (depends on 10)

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 10, wherein the stored context data includes information from a Bluetooth connection.

### Claim 13 (depends on 10)

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 10, wherein the stored context data includes information from a near-field communication tag.

### Claim 14 (depends on 10)

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 10, wherein the stored context data includes information from a vehicle.

### Claim 15 (depends on 10)

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 10, wherein the single user input includes a selection indicating the second user.

### Claim 16 (depends on 10)

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 10, wherein performing the first task associated with the first condition includes providing an indication corresponding to the first task.

### Claim 17 (depends on 10)

The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of claim 10, wherein performing the first task associated with the first condition includes:
providing an output associated with at least one parameter of the first task;
receiving a second user input responsive to the output.

### Claim 18 (depends on 10)
