Claims8
A shredding device, comprising:
- a housing;
- a rotary shaft rotatably attached to an inside of the housing;
- a plurality of rotary blades attached around the rotary shaft to be spaced apart from one another in an axial direction of the rotary shaft;
- and
- a plurality of fixed blades attached to a bottom plate of the housing so that an article to be processed is shredded by the plurality of fixed blades in cooperation with the plurality of rotary blades, wherein
- each of the plurality of fixed blades is made of a single blade stood upright on the bottom plate,
- each of the rotary blades comprises, at an outer corner of a distal end portion of the rotary blade, a sharp, acute angle portion having an acute angle shape configured to shear a garbage bag, the acute angle shape being with respect to a circumferential direction of rotation of the rotary shaft relative to a side view of the shredding device, and
- a lifting device which changes a distance between a tip of a rotary blade of the plurality of rotary blades and a tip of a corresponding fixed blade of the plurality of fixed blades by raising and lowering the rotary shaft is provided.
