## Abstract

Various systems, methods, and devices related to modifying views of a multi-lead electrocardiogram (ECG), as well as identifying notations associated with the multi-lead ECG, are described. An example method includes displaying graphical elements in a first arrangement. The graphical elements respectively depict electrical signals indicative of an electrical activity of a heart. The example method further includes detecting a signal indicative of a display selection, and, based on the display selection, rearranging the graphical elements from the first arrangement to a second arrangement.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A defibrillator, comprising:
a memory;
a sensor configured to detect a user input, the user input comprising a touch input, a device movement input, a voice input, or a button input;
a measurement circuit configured to detect an electrocardiogram (ECG) of a patient;
a treatment circuit configured to output an electrical shock;
a user interface (UI) configured to present waveforms in a grid according to the selected grid arrangement; and
a processor configured to:
generate the waveforms representing relative electrical potentials in the ECG over time; and
determine, by analyzing the user input, a selected grid arrangement from among a portrait arrangement or a landscape arrangement for presenting the waveforms in the grid, the grid comprising a row of the waveforms positioned side by side each other, and a column of the waveforms positioned above and below each other;
identify, via the UI, a touch associated with one of the waveforms; and
update the waveform with which the annotation is associated to be overlaid by a notation in response to the identifying of the touch.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The defibrillator of claim 1, wherein the UI is configured to present the waveforms in the grid in a Cabrera sequence.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The defibrillator of claim 2, wherein the UI is configured to present the waveforms in a non-Cabrera sequence.

### Claim 4

A medical device, comprising:
a user interface (UI) configured to present waveforms in a grid; and
a processor configured to:
generate waveforms representing relative electrical potentials in an electrocardiogram (ECG); and
determine, by analyzing a user input detected by a sensor, a selected grid sequence from among a Cabrera sequence or a non-Cabrera sequence for presenting the waveforms in the grid, the grid comprising a row of the waveforms positioned side by side each other, and a column of the waveforms positioned above and below each other;
identify, via the UI, a touch associated with one of the waveforms; and
update the waveform with which the annotation is associated to be overlaid by a notation in response to the identifying of the touch.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)
