Method of manufacturing a connection between two tube segments of a tower-like structure

A method for manufacturing a connection between two tube segments of a tower-like structure, comprising:

• pushing a first tube segment into an end face of a second tube segment or
• slipping the first tube segment over the end face of the second tube segment,
• forming an annular gap between the first and second tube segments,
• arranging two joining elements spaced apart from one another in a longitudinal direction of the tube segments in the annular gap,
• placing the joining elements on an outer wall of one of the tube segments and/or on an inner wall of one of the tube segments,
• mechanically coupling the tube segments to one another via the joining elements in the annular gap,
• detecting a mechanical parameter of the mechanical coupling between the tube segments via at least one measuring sensor on at least one of the tube segments, and
• filling the annular gap with a casting compound in time after an initial installation and commissioning of the structure depending on the detected mechanical parameter.
