A method of treating a protein kinase C activator-responsive cell proliferative disorder, comprising:
- administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of 12-tigloyl-13-(2-methylbutanoyl)-6,7-epoxy-4,5,9,12,13,20-hexahydroxy-1-tigliaen-3-one having the structure:
- wherein the cell proliferative disorder is a solid tumor or a dermatological neoplasm.
The method of 1, wherein the subject is a human.
A method of treating a protein kinase C activator-responsive cell proliferative disorder, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising 12-tigloyl-13-(2-methylbutanoyl)-6,7-epoxy-4,5,9,12,13,20-hexahydroxy-1-tigliaen-3-one having the structure:
- and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, diluent and/or excipient,
- wherein the cell proliferative disorder is a solid tumor or a dermatological neoplasm.
