Abstract
In one aspect the application relates to a computing system for providing data for modelling a human brain comprises a database including a plurality of datasets (or allow access to a plurality of datasets), each dataset including at least a dynamical model of the brain including at least one node and a neurodataset of a neuroimaging modality input. The at least one node include a representation of a local dynamic model and a parameter set of the local dynamic model.
Claims23
A non-transitory computer readable medium encoded with non-transitory computer readable instructions for performing a process comprising:
- accessing a computer-stored computer-simulation human whole brain model representing whole brain neural activity, the whole brain model divided into a plurality of user-modifiable anatomical regional brain subunit models respectively representing regional brain subunit neural activity and including a neural connectivity structure of the regional brain subunit within the regional brain subunit, to one or more other regional brain subunits of the whole brain model, or both;
- and
- receiving user-modification of the human whole brain model or at least one of the regional brain subunit models to customize to a particular patient based at least in part on fitting at least one parameter of the human whole brain model or at least one of the regional brain subunit models to empirical intrinsic neural activity data measured from the particular patient.
A computer-assisted method comprising:
- accessing a computer-stored computer-simulation human whole brain model representing whole brain neural activity, the whole brain model divided into a plurality of user-modifiable anatomical regional brain subunit models, each regional brain subunit model representing regional brain subunit neural activity and including a connectivity structure of a regional brain subunit, the connectivity structure including connectivity information of the regional brain subunit within the regional brain subunit and to one or more other regional brain subunits of the whole brain model;
- and
- receiving user-modification of the human whole brain model or at least one of the regional brain subunit models to customize to a particular patient based at least in part on fitting at least one parameter of the human whole brain model or at least one of the regional brain subunit models to empirical intrinsic neural activity data measured from the particular patient.
A non-transitory computer readable medium encoded with non-transitory computer readable instructions for performing a process comprising:
- accessing a stored computer-simulation human whole brain model representing whole brain neural activity, the whole brain model divided into a number of user-modifiable anatomical regional brain subunit models respectively representing regional brain subunit neural activity and including a neural connectivity structure of the regional brain subunit within the regional brain subunit, to one or more other regional brain subunits of the whole brain model, or both;
- receiving user-modification of the human whole brain model or at least one of the regional brain subunit models to customize to a particular patient based at least in part on fitting at least one parameter of the human whole brain model or at least one of the regional brain subunit models to empirical intrinsic neural activity data measured from the particular patient;
- and
- wherein the stored computer-simulation primate whole brain model includes a plurality of nodes and wherein:
- the number of user-modifiable anatomical regional brain subunits corresponding to a spatial resolution of a specified neuroimaging modality;
- at least one of a forward or inverse transformation model to map an output of the model to a space corresponding to a neurodataset or to a source space corresponding to the plurality of nodes of the stored computer-simulation primate whole brain model.
