Device and method for processing an optical lens

Device for processing one or more optical lenses, comprising

• a measuring system for optical measurement of the one or more lenses to be processed;
• a processing system for processing the one or more lenses;
• an intermediate conveyor;
• a loading system for at least one of conveying one or more measured lenses to the intermediate conveyor and receiving the one or more measured lenses from the measuring system,
• an unloading system, working independently of the loading system for removal of one or more processed lenses from the processing system or delivery of the one or more processed lenses to a container, and
• wherein the intermediate conveyor is configured for receiving the one or more lenses to be processed from the loading system and for feeding the one or more lenses to be processed from the loading system to the processing system, the intermediate conveyor working independently of the loading system and the unloading system.
