## Abstract

A system may employ one or more satellite sensors to monitor an area; detect a body or thing that should not be present in an area; formulate a response, such as documentation, notifying authorities, or deploying unmanned aerial vehicles; and execute the response. Monitoring an area can be based on a request for surveillance at the area.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A system comprising:
a processor; and
memory coupled with the processor, the memory storing executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to effectuate operations comprising:
receiving a request for surveillance at a location;
in response to the request, determining a satellite of a plurality of satellites based on a current location of the satellite and a time required for the satellite to move from the current location to a surveillance location, wherein the satellite can perform the surveillance at the location from the surveillance location;
sending instructions for the satellite to monitor a geofence encompassing the location;
detecting, at least in part using information collected by the satellite during the surveillance, an unauthorized vehicle within the geofence, wherein the system is in communication with the unauthorized vehicle; and
in response to detecting the unauthorized vehicle, causing a command to be sent to the unauthorized vehicle.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the operations comprise:
in response to detecting the unauthorized vehicle, sending an alert to a public safety authority.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the operations comprise:
in response to detecting the unauthorized vehicle, causing deployment of an unmanned vehicle or autonomous vehicle.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the operations comprise:
sending instructions to the satellite to move from the current location to the surveillance location.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the command is a shutdown command.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the command changes a route of the vehicle.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the command is sent by a terrestrial server.

### Claim 8

A method comprising:
receiving a request for surveillance at a location;
based on the request, determining a satellite of a plurality of satellites based on a current location of the satellite and a time required for the satellite to move from the current location to a surveillance location, wherein the satellite can perform the surveillance at the location from the surveillance location;
sending instructions for the satellite to monitor a geofence encompassing the location;
detecting, at least in part using information collected by the satellite during the surveillance, an unauthorized vehicle within the geofence; and
in response to detecting the unauthorized vehicle, causing a command to be sent to the unauthorized vehicle.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The method of claim 8, comprising:
in response to detecting the unauthorized vehicle, sending an alert to a public safety authority.

### Claim 10 (depends on 8)

The method of claim 8, comprising:
in response to detecting the unauthorized vehicle, causing deployment of an unmanned vehicle or autonomous vehicle.

### Claim 11 (depends on 8)

The method of claim 8, comprising:
sending instructions to the satellite to move from the current location to the surveillance location.

### Claim 12 (depends on 8)

The method of claim 8, wherein the command is a shutdown command.

### Claim 13 (depends on 8)

The method of claim 8, wherein the command changes a route of the vehicle.

### Claim 14 (depends on 8)

The method of claim 8, wherein the command is sent by a terrestrial server.

### Claim 15

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing computer executable instructions that when executed by a computing device cause said computing device to effectuate operations comprising:
receiving a request for surveillance at a location;
in response to the request, determining a satellite of a plurality of satellites based on a current location of the satellite and a time required for the satellite to move from the current location to a surveillance location, wherein the satellite can perform the surveillance at the location from the surveillance location;
sending instructions for the satellite to monitor a geofence encompassing the location;
detecting, at least in part using information collected by the satellite during the surveillance, an unauthorized vehicle within the geofence; and
in response to detecting the unauthorized vehicle, causing a command to be sent to the unauthorized vehicle.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein the operations comprise:
in response to detecting the unauthorized vehicle, sending an alert to a public safety authority.

### Claim 17 (depends on 15)

The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein the operations comprise:
in response to detecting the unauthorized vehicle, causing deployment of an unmanned vehicle or autonomous vehicle.

### Claim 18 (depends on 15)

The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein the operations comprise:
sending instructions to the satellite to move from the current location to the surveillance location.

### Claim 19 (depends on 15)

The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein the command is a shutdown command.

### Claim 20 (depends on 15)

The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15, wherein the command changes a route of the vehicle.
