Sanitary shield

A foldable sanitary shield comprising:

• a lower shield comprising a lower center wall, a first lower sidewall hingedly connected to the lower center wall, and a second lower sidewall hingedly connected to the lower center wall;
• and
• an upper shield coupled to the lower shield by an adhesive strip affixing the upper shield to the lower shield, the upper shield comprising an upper center wall, a first upper sidewall movably coupled to the upper center wall, and a second upper sidewall movably coupled to the upper center wall, wherein the foldable sanitary shield is configurable in a folded configuration and an unfolded configuration, and wherein the lower shield and the upper shield define a shielded space in an upright and in-use configuration;
• wherein:
• the lower shield further comprises a first lower flap hingedly connected to the first lower sidewall distal to the lower center wall and a second lower flap hingedly connected to the second lower sidewall distal to the lower center wall;
• in the upright and in-use configuration, the first lower flap extends outward and away from the first lower sidewall and the second lower flap extends outward and away from the second lower sidewall to further define the shielded space;
• the upper shield extends along the lower center wall and at least partially along the first lower sidewall and the second lower sidewall, but does not extend along the first lower flap or the second lower flap;
• wherein the upper shield comprises a lateral fold line, wherein the lateral fold line defines at least one slit and at least one hole formed along the lateral fold line;
• wherein at least one lower cut-out is formed in a lower end of the lower shield;
• wherein the upper shield is affixed to the lower shield by the adhesive strip that is exposed by removing a backing;
• wherein an attachment indicator is arranged on the lower shield to indicate where to affix the upper shield to the lower shield;
• wherein the attachment indicator further comprises a start location and a finish location indicating where the adhesive strip starts and finishes;
• wherein the upper shield is transparent;
• and
• wherein the lower shield is opaque.
