transmitting the one or more output commands to the video game system, wherein the first portion of the output commands are transmitted to the video game system at the transmit speed and wherein the transmit speed is different than a received speed at which the corresponding one or more input commands were received.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The input controller of claim 5, wherein the transmit speed at which the first portion of the one or more output commands are transmitted to the video game system is double the received speed at which the corresponding one or more input commands were received.

### Claim 7 (depends on 5)

The input controller of claim 5, wherein the transmit speed at which the first portion of the one or more output commands are transmitted to the video game system is half the received speed at which the corresponding one or more input commands were received.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The input controller of claim 1, wherein the input controller is communicatively coupled to a network.

### Claim 9

An input controller communicatively coupled to a network for a video game system, the input controller comprising:
a microcontroller operatively coupled to a non-transitory memory;
an input interface operatively coupled to the microprocessor and configured to receive one or more input commands in an input format from an input device;
an output interface operatively coupled to the microprocessor and configured to send one or more output commands in an output format to a video game system, wherein the input format differs from the output format;
wherein the non-transitory memory comprises a plurality of computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the microprocessor, cause the input controller to perform the steps of:
waiting to receive the one or more input commands;
upon receipt of the one or more input commands, translating the one or more input commands to one or more stored commands in a stored format, wherein each of the one or more stored commands corresponds to a respective one of the one or more input commands;
saving the one or more stored commands to the non-transitory memory;
