Abstract
An infusion pump system is disclosed. The infusion pump system includes an infusion pump and a controller device in wireless communication with the infusion pump, wherein the controller including instructions for controlling the infusion pump, wherein the instructions may be synchronized with a secure web portal.
Claims7
A medical device system comprising:
- a first medical device;
- a second medical device comprising a controller in wireless communication with the first medical device,
- wherein the controller is in communication with a secure web portal,
- wherein when the secure web portal contacts the controller, the controller notifies the user and
- wherein if an acknowledgement of the secure web portal contact is not made on the controller the secure web portal contacts an emergency contact.
