Server system, method for controlling server system, and storage medium

A method for controlling a server system connected to a plurality of information processing apparatuses, the server system communicating with a system that provides a web meeting function in which an image included in an uploaded file and sound are shared between the information processing apparatuses, the method comprising:

• receiving a notification indicating that an object related to a printing function is selected, wherein the object is displayed in a function selection area displayed in response to selection of a predetermined object displayed together with the image included in the file;
• acquiring the file including the image that is being displayed as a presentation document by a presenter in the web meeting function when the object related to the printing function is selected;
• displaying, in a case where the file including the image is unable to be acquired in a state that the image is being displayed as the presentation, a screen for selecting a method for sharing the file, the method including a method for uploading the file from the information processing apparatus to the web meeting function and a method for uploading the file from a cloud storage to the web meeting function;
• searching, in a case where the file including the image is unable to be acquired in a state that the image is being displayed as the presentation and where a file name of the file including the image has been acquired, the file from a folder corresponding to the web meeting function using the file name;
• receiving print settings for the file;
• and
• transmitting, to a cloud print service, the acquired file and a print instruction based on the received print settings.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs including executable instructions that, when executed by a computer, causes the computer to perform a method for controlling a server system connected to a plurality of information processing apparatuses, the server system communicating with a system that provides a web meeting function in which an image included in an uploaded file and sound are shared between the information processing apparatuses, the method comprising:

• receiving a notification indicating that an object related to a printing function is selected, wherein the object is displayed in a function selection area displayed in response to selection of a predetermined object displayed together with the image included in the file;
• acquiring the file including the image that is being displayed as a presentation document by a presenter in the web meeting function when the object related to the printing function is selected;
• displaying, in a case where the file including the image is unable to be acquired in a state that the image is being displayed as the presentation, a screen for selecting a method for sharing the file, the method including a method for uploading the file from the information processing apparatus to the web meeting function and a method for uploading the file from a cloud storage to the web meeting function;
• searching, in a case where the file including the image is unable to be acquired in a state that the image is being displayed as the presentation and where a file name of the file including the image has been acquired, the file from a folder corresponding to the web meeting function using the file name;
• receiving print settings for the file;
• and
• transmitting, to a cloud print service, the acquired file and a print instruction based on the received print settings.
