Focusing linear model correction and linear model correction for multivariate calibration model maintenance

A device, comprising:

• one or more memories;
• and
• one or more processors, coupled to the one or more memories, configured to cause the device to:
• receive, after a calibration model is deployed to a spectroscopic instrument, an updating set that includes new samples representative of different conditions;
• and
• update, based on a beta coefficient associated with the calibration model, after the calibration model is deployed to the spectroscopic instrument, and during online operation of the spectroscopic instrument, the calibration model using a linear model correction (LMC) technique and the updating set.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a set of instructions, the set of instructions comprising:

• one or more instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a device, cause the device to:
• receive, after a calibration model is deployed to a spectroscopic instrument, an updating set that includes new samples representative of different conditions;
• and
• update, based on a beta coefficient associated with the calibration model, after the calibration model is deployed to the spectroscopic instrument, and during operation of the spectroscopic instrument, the calibration model using a linear model correction (LMC) technique and the updating set.
