Claims5
A method of incorporating a lecithin blend product in asphalt applications, comprising:
- (a) obtaining a lecithin blend product, comprising of lecithin and a fatty acid source with an acid value between 1 and 100 mg KOH/g;
- and
- (b) adding the lecithin blend product to an asphalt binder thereby forming a mixture;
- wherein the amount of the lecithin blend product ranges from 0.1 to 3 wt % of the mixture.

- (a) obtaining a lecithin blend product, comprising of lecithin and a fatty acid source with an acid value between 50 and 100 mg KOH/g;
- and
- (b) adding the lecithin blend product to an asphalt binder thereby forming a mixture;
- wherein the amount of the lecithin blend product ranges from 0.1 to 3 wt % of the mixture.
A method of incorporating a lecithin blend product in asphalt applications, comprising:
- (a) obtaining a lecithin blend product, comprising of lecithin and a fatty acid source with an acid value between 15 and 40 mg KOH/g;
- and
- (b) adding the lecithin blend product to an asphalt binder thereby forming a mixture;
