Adhesive paperband composite for turn up procedure

A paperband composite for transferring a paper web from a full web spool to an empty web spool in a paper machine turn up process, the paperband composite comprising:

• a substrate comprising:
• a first side comprising a spool surface adhesive coated region and a plurality of other coated regions extending from the spool surface adhesive coated region, wherein the plurality of other coated regions occupy at least a majority of a portion of the first side of the substrate;
• and
• a second side having a tissue adhesive coating on the second side of the substrate and
• a plurality of perforations at predetermined locations along a length of the substrate;
• wherein the spool surface adhesive coated region comprises a spool face adhesive on the first side of the substrate, and the plurality of other coated regions comprises a release coating on the first side of the substrate.
