An adjustable carriage assembly

• a carriage defining a passage configured to receive a frame member therethrough such that the carriage is moveable along the frame member;
• a first handle mount portion connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage;
• a first handle connected to and supported by the first handle mount portion and extending from the first handle mount portion, wherein the first handle mount portion extends between the first handle and the carriage to mount the first handle on the carriage at a first location spaced from the carriage such that a first space is defined between the first handle and the carriage to receive a portion of a first hand of a user;
• a second handle mount portion connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage;
• a second handle connected to and supported by the second handle mount portion and extending from the second handle mount portion, wherein the second handle mount portion extends between the second handle and the carriage to mount the second handle on the carriage at a second location spaced from the carriage such that a second space is defined between the second handle and the carriage to receive a portion of a second hand of the user, wherein a space is defined between the first and second handles;
• a third handle mount portion connected to the carriage below the first handle mount portion and extending outward from the carriage, wherein the first handle is further connected to and supported by the third handle mount portion and extends vertically between the first handle mount portion and the third handle mount portion;
• a fourth handle mount portion connected to the carriage below the second handle mount portion and extending outward from the carriage, wherein the second handle is further connected to and supported by the fourth handle mount portion and extends vertically between the second handle mount portion and the fourth handle mount portion;
• and
• a locking structure configured for engaging the frame member to lock the carriage in position relative to the frame member, wherein the locking structure comprises a pin mounted on the carriage that is moveable by axial translation between a locked position, where the pin extends into the passage and is configured to engage the frame member to lock the carriage in position, and an unlocked position, where the pin is retracted from the passage and is configured to disengage from the frame member to allow movement of the carriage with respect to the frame member, wherein the pin is positioned between the first and second handles,
• wherein the pin is mounted on a rear side of the carriage, and wherein the first handle and the second handle are connected to the carriage proximate the rear side of the carriage, such that the first handle and the second handle are located on opposite lateral sides of the pin,
• wherein the carriage has first and second opposed sides spaced laterally from each other, such that the rear side extends between the first and second opposed sides, wherein the first handle mount portion is connected to the carriage proximate to the first side and proximate to a top of the carriage, the second handle mount portion is connected to the carriage proximate to the second side and proximate to the top of the carriage, the third handle mount portion is connected to the carriage proximate to the first side and proximate to a bottom of the carriage, and the fourth handle mount portion is connected to the carriage proximate to the second side and proximate to the bottom of the carriage.

An adjustable carriage assembly comprising:

• a carriage defining a passage configured to receive a frame member therethrough such that the carriage is moveable along the frame member;
• a first handle mount portion connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage;
• a first handle connected to and supported by the first handle mount portion and extending from the first handle mount portion, wherein the first handle mount portion extends between the first handle and the carriage to mount the first handle on the carriage at a first location spaced from the carriage such that a first space is defined between the first handle and the carriage to receive a portion of a first hand of a user;
• a second handle mount portion connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage;
• a second handle connected to and supported by the second handle mount portion and extending from the second handle mount portion, wherein the second handle mount portion extends between the second handle and the carriage to mount the second handle on the carriage at a second location spaced from the carriage such that a second space is defined between the second handle and the carriage to receive a portion of a second hand of the user, wherein a space is defined between the first and second handles;
• and
• a locking structure configured for engaging the frame member to lock the carriage in position relative to the frame member, wherein the locking structure comprises a pin mounted on the carriage that is moveable by axial translation between a locked position, where the pin extends into the passage and is configured to engage the frame member to lock the carriage in position, and an unlocked position, where the pin is retracted from the passage and is configured to disengage from the frame member to allow movement of the carriage with respect to the frame member, wherein the pin is positioned between the first and second handles,
• wherein the first handle mount portion and the second handle mount portion are configured as a single handle mount.

An adjustable carriage assembly comprising:

• a carriage defining a passage configured to receive a frame member therethrough such that the carriage is moveable along the frame member;
• a first handle mount portion connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage;
• a first handle comprising a first elongated vertical beam connected to and supported by the first handle mount portion and extending vertically from the first handle mount portion, wherein at least a portion of the first elongated vertical beam has a circular cross-section, and wherein the first handle mount portion extends rearwardly between the first handle and the carriage to mount the first handle on the carriage;
• a second handle mount portion connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage;
• a second handle comprising a second elongated vertical beam connected to and supported by the second handle mount portion and extending vertically from the second handle mount portion, wherein at least a portion of the second elongated vertical beam has a circular cross-section, and wherein the second handle mount portion extends rearwardly between the second handle and the carriage to mount the second handle on the carriage, wherein the first handle and the second handle are spaced from each other, and the first handle and the second handle are parallel to each other;
• and
• a locking structure configured for engaging the frame member to lock the carriage in position relative to the frame member, wherein the locking structure comprises a pin mounted on the carriage at a location between the first and second handles such that the pin is configured to be actuated by a user's hands while the user's hands are gripping the first and second handles, wherein the pin is moveable by axial translation between a locked position, where the pin extends into the passage and is configured to engage the frame member to lock the carriage in position, and an unlocked position, where the pin is retracted from the passage and is configured to disengage from the frame member to allow movement of the carriage with respect to the frame member.

An adjustable carriage assembly comprising:

• a carriage defining a passage configured to receive a frame member therethrough such that the carriage is moveable along the frame member;
• a first handle mount portion connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage;
• a first handle comprising a first elongated vertical beam connected to and supported by the first handle mount portion and extending vertically from the first handle mount portion, wherein the first handle mount portion extends rearwardly between the first handle and the carriage to mount the first handle on the carriage;
• a second handle mount portion connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage;
• a second handle comprising a second elongated vertical beam connected to and supported by the second handle mount portion and extending vertically from the second handle mount portion, wherein the second handle mount portion extends rearwardly between the second handle and the carriage to mount the second handle on the carriage, wherein the first handle and the second handle are spaced from each other, and the first handle and the second handle are parallel to each other;
• a third handle mount portion connected to the carriage below the first handle mount portion and extending outward from the carriage, wherein the first handle is further connected to and supported by the third handle mount portion and extends vertically between the first handle mount portion and the third handle mount portion;
• a fourth handle mount portion connected to the carriage below the second handle mount portion and extending outward from the carriage, wherein the second handle is further connected to and supported by the fourth handle mount portion and extends vertically between the second handle mount portion and the fourth handle mount portion;
• and
• a locking structure configured for engaging the frame member to lock the carriage in position relative to the frame member, wherein the locking structure comprises a pin mounted on the carriage at a location between the first and second handles such that the pin is configured to be actuated by a user's hands while the user's hands are gripping the first and second handles, wherein the pin is moveable by axial translation between a locked position, where the pin extends into the passage and is configured to engage the frame member to lock the carriage in position, and an unlocked position, where the pin is retracted from the passage and is configured to disengage from the frame member to allow movement of the carriage with respect to the frame member,
• wherein the pin is mounted on a rear side of the carriage, and wherein the first handle and the second handle are connected to the carriage proximate the rear side of the carriage, such that the first handle and the second handle are located on opposite lateral sides of the pin, and
• wherein the carriage has first and second opposed sides spaced laterally from each other, such that the rear side extends between the first and second opposed sides, wherein the first handle mount portion is connected to the carriage proximate to the first side and proximate to a top of the carriage, the second handle mount portion is connected to the carriage proximate to the second side and proximate to the top of the carriage, the third handle mount portion is connected to the carriage proximate to the first side and proximate to a bottom of the carriage, and the fourth handle mount portion is connected to the carriage proximate to the second side and proximate to the bottom of the carriage.

An adjustable carriage assembly comprising:

• a carriage defining a passage configured to receive a frame member therethrough such that the carriage is moveable along the frame member;
• an upper handle mount connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage;
• a lower handle mount connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage, the lower handle mount located below the upper handle mount and spaced vertically from the upper handle mount;
• a first handle and a second handle connected to and supported by the upper and lower handle mounts and extending vertically between the upper and lower handle mounts, such that a space is defined between the first handle and the second handle, wherein a first space is defined between the first handle and the carriage to receive a portion of a first hand of a user, and a second space is defined between the second handle and the carriage to receive a portion of a second hand of the user;
• and
• a locking structure configured for engaging the frame member to lock the carriage in position relative to the frame member, wherein the locking structure comprises a pin located between the first and second handles, and wherein the pin is moveable between a locked position, where the pin is configured to engage the frame member to lock the carriage in position with respect to the frame member, and an unlocked position, where the pin is configured to disengage from the frame member to allow movement of the carriage with respect to the frame member.

An adjustable carriage assembly comprising:

• a carriage defining a passage configured to receive a frame member therethrough such that the carriage is moveable along the frame member;
• a first handle mount portion connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage;
• a first handle connected to and supported by the first handle mount portion and extending from the first handle mount portion, wherein the first handle mount portion extends between the first handle and the carriage to mount the first handle on the carriage at a first location spaced from the carriage such that a first space is defined between the first handle and the carriage to receive a portion of a first hand of a user;
• a second handle mount portion connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage;
• a second handle connected to and supported by the second handle mount portion and extending from the second handle mount portion, wherein the second handle mount portion extends between the second handle and the carriage to mount the second handle on the carriage at a second location spaced from the carriage such that a second space is defined between the second handle and the carriage to receive a portion of a second hand of the user, wherein a space is defined between the first and second handles;
• a third handle mount portion connected to the carriage below the first handle mount portion and extending outward from the carriage, wherein the first handle is further connected to and supported by the third handle mount portion and extends vertically between the first handle mount portion and the third handle mount portion;
• a fourth handle mount portion connected to the carriage below the second handle mount portion and extending outward from the carriage, wherein the second handle is further connected to and supported by the fourth handle mount portion and extends vertically between the second handle mount portion and the fourth handle mount portion;
• and
• a locking structure configured for engaging the frame member to lock the carriage in position relative to the frame member, wherein the locking structure comprises a pin mounted on the carriage that is moveable by axial translation between a locked position, where the pin extends into the passage and is configured to engage the frame member to lock the carriage in position, and an unlocked position, where the pin is retracted from the passage and is configured to disengage from the frame member to allow movement of the carriage with respect to the frame member, wherein the pin is positioned between the first and second handles,
• wherein the pin is mounted on a rear side of the carriage, and wherein the first handle and the second handle are connected to the carriage proximate the rear side of the carriage, such that the first handle and the second handle are located on opposite lateral sides of the pin,
• wherein the first handle mount portion and the second handle mount portion are configured as a single upper handle mount, and wherein the third handle mount portion and the fourth handle mount portion are configured as a single lower handle mount.

An adjustable carriage assembly comprising:

• a carriage defining a passage configured to receive a frame member therethrough such that the carriage is moveable along the frame member;
• a first handle mount portion connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage;
• a first handle comprising a first elongated vertical beam connected to and supported by the first handle mount portion and extending vertically from the first handle mount portion, wherein the first handle mount portion extends rearwardly between the first handle and the carriage to mount the first handle on the carriage;
• a second handle mount portion connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage;
• a second handle comprising a second elongated vertical beam connected to and supported by the second handle mount portion and extending vertically from the second handle mount portion, wherein the second handle mount portion extends rearwardly between the second handle and the carriage to mount the second handle on the carriage, wherein the first handle and the second handle are spaced from each other, and the first handle and the second handle are parallel to each other;
• and
• a locking structure configured for engaging the frame member to lock the carriage in position relative to the frame member, wherein the locking structure comprises a pin mounted on the carriage at a location between the first and second handles such that the pin is configured to be actuated by a user's hands while the user's hands are gripping the first and second handles, wherein the pin is moveable by axial translation between a locked position, where the pin extends into the passage and is configured to engage the frame member to lock the carriage in position, and an unlocked position, where the pin is retracted from the passage and is configured to disengage from the frame member to allow movement of the carriage with respect to the frame member,
• wherein the first handle mount portion and the second handle mount portion are configured as a single handle mount.

An adjustable carriage assembly comprising:

• a carriage defining a passage configured to receive a frame member therethrough such that the carriage is moveable along the frame member, wherein the carriage comprises a first side plate and a second side plate spaced from the first side plate, and wherein the passage is defined between the first and second side plates;
• a plurality of rollers rotatably connected to the first side plate and the second side plate and extending between the first and second side plates;
• a first handle mount portion connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage;
• a first handle connected to and supported by the first handle mount portion and extending from the first handle mount portion, wherein the first handle mount portion extends outwardly between the first handle and the carriage to mount the first handle on the carriage;
• a second handle mount portion connected to the carriage and extending outward from the carriage, wherein the first handle mount portion and the second handle mount portion are configured as a single handle mount that extends across the carriage and engages the first and second side plates;
• a second handle connected to and supported by the second handle mount portion and extending from the second handle mount portion, wherein the second handle mount portion extends outwardly between the second handle and the carriage to mount the second handle on the carriage, wherein the first handle and the second handle are spaced from each other, and the first handle and the second handle are parallel to each other;
• and
• a locking structure configured for engaging the frame member to lock the carriage in position relative to the frame member, wherein the locking structure comprises a pin mounted on the carriage at a location between the first and second handles, wherein the pin is moveable by axial translation between a locked position, where the pin extends into the passage and is configured to engage the frame member to lock the carriage in position, and an unlocked position, where the pin is retracted from the passage and is configured to disengage from the frame member to allow movement of the carriage with respect to the frame member.
