Abstract
This hand system comprises: a suction pad that sucks a conductive workpiece by fluid effect; at least three electrodes that are arranged on the suction pad; and an electrical characteristics measuring device that measures the electrical characteristics of an electrical circuit formed by the contact between any two of the electrodes and the workpiece.

A hand system, comprising:
- a suction pad configured to suction a conductive workpiece by the fluid effect,
- at least three electrodes arranged on the suction pad;
- an electric characteristic measurement instrument configured to measure electrical characteristics of an electric circuit formed by contact between any two of the electrodes and the workpiece;
- and
- a determination unit configured to determine a number of the workpieces extracted based on the electrical characteristics.
