Printing apparatus

A printing apparatus comprising:

• a printing unit configured to perform printing on a print medium;
• a stacking portion on which the print medium printed by the printing unit is stacked;
• a discharge unit configured to discharge the print medium printed by the printing unit to the stacking portion in a conveying direction;
• an opening/closing portion configured to displace between a closed position for forming a discharge passage of the printing medium and an open position for opening the stacking portion;
• and
• at least one guide member configured to displace between a guide position in which the at least one guide member guides conveyance of the print medium while facing the stacking portion and a take-out position in which the print medium printed by the printing unit is capable of being taken out from the stacking portion,
• wherein the stacking portion includes a movable portion at a position facing the opening/closing portion, and
• the movable portion is displaceable between a closed position for forming a stacking surface for the print medium and an open position for exposing the inside of the printing apparatus covered by the stacking portion.

A printing apparatus comprising:

• a printing unit configured to perform printing on a print medium;
• a stacking portion on which the print medium printed by the printing unit is stacked;
• a discharge unit configured to discharge the print medium printed by the printing unit to the stacking portion in a conveying direction;
• an opening/closing portion configured to displace between a closed position for forming a discharge passage of the printing medium and an open position for opening the stacking portion;
• and
• at least one guide member configured to displace between a guide position in which the at least one guide member guides conveyance of the print medium while facing the stacking portion and a take-out position in which the print medium printed by the printing unit is capable of being taken out from the stacking portion,
• wherein the opening/closing portion includes a take-out port through which a user can take out, from the stacking portion, the print medium having undergone printing,
• the at least one guide member is provided in the opening/closing portion, and
• the at least one guide member in the guide position overlaps the take-out port.
