Abstract
Provided are novel C3-symmetry high T1 energy host compounds. Also provided are formulations comprising these novel C3-symmetry high T1 energy host compounds. Further provided are OLEDs and related consumer products that utilize these novel C3-symmetry high T1 energy host compounds. The novel host compounds are represented by where the variables are defined herein.

An organic light emitting device (OLED) comprising:
- an anode;
- a cathode;
- and an organic layer disposed between the anode and the cathode, wherein the organic layer comprises a compound of Formula I
- wherein:
- X1—X12 are each independently C or N;
- M is selected from the group consisting of B, Al, Ga, CR, SiR, GeR, P and P═O;
- each RA, RB, and RC independently represents zero, mono, di-substitution or the maximum allowable substitution;
- each R, RA, RB, and RC is independently a hydrogen or a substituent selected from the group consisting of deuterium, halogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, heteroalkyl, heterocycloalkyl, arylalkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, amino, silyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, heteroalkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroaryl, acyl, carboxylic acid, ether, ester, nitrile, isonitrile, sulfanyl, sulfinyl, sulfonyl, phosphino, boryl, and combinations thereof;
- and
- any two adjacent R, RA, RB, and RC can be joined or fused together to form a ring.
