Control system, support device, and computer-readable storage medium

A support device connectable to a control system including a plurality of control devices connected to a network, each of the control devices including:

• a storage device that stores a control program, and at least one processor configured to access the storage device and execute the control program to calculate and update a control instruction that is a value related to control of a control target,
• the support device comprising a memory that stores a disposition module and an arbitration module, and a central processing unit (CPU),
• wherein the CPU accesses the memory and executes the
• disposition module to cause the CPU to deploy a plurality of the control programs including a command to calculate and update an identical control instruction in two or more control devices;
• and
• wherein the CPU accesses the memory and executes the arbitration module to cause the CPU to arbitrate a different operation time for each update of the identical control instruction among the plurality of control programs, such that the updating of each of the identical control instructions in the plurality of control programs do not conflict with any of the other updates of the identical control instructions in the plurality of control programs.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a setting program setting a behavior of a control system including a plurality of control devices connected to a network, each of the control devices including:

• a storage device that stores a control program, and at least one processor configured to access the storage device and execute the control program to calculate and update a control instruction that is a value related to control of a control target;
• the setting program, when executed by a central processing unit (CPU), causes the CPU to:
• deploy a plurality of the control programs including a command to calculate and update an identical control instruction in two or more control devices;
• and arbitrate a different operation time for each update of the identical control instruction among the plurality of control programs, such that the updating of each of the identical control instructions in the plurality of control programs do not conflict with any of the other updates of the identical control instructions in the plurality of control programs.
