Storage systems including back channels and walls mountable along the back channels

A closet storage system comprising:

• a shelf including opposing first and second side edge portions each having a top surface, a front edge, a back edge, and a bottom surface;
• a first side bracket including a shelf support surface configured for receiving the first side edge portion of the shelf thereon;
• a first shelf trim configured to be coupled to the first side bracket, the first shelf trim configured to be positioned along the first side edge portion of the shelf such that the first shelf trim extends at least partially over the top surface of the first side edge portion of the shelf, over an entirety of the front edge of the first side edge portion of the shelf, and at least partially under the bottom surface of the first side edge portion of the shelf;
• and
• a back channel configured to be mountable along a back wall of a closet to receive a back edge of the shelf, wherein the back channel is configured for receiving the back edge of the shelf therein and includes openings to permit the use of fasteners to couple the back channel to the back wall of the closet.

A closet storage system comprising:

• a shelf including opposing first and second side edge portions each having a top surface, a front edge, a back edge, and a bottom surface;
• a first side bracket including a shelf support surface configured for receiving the first side edge portion of the shelf thereon, the first side bracket configured to directly abut and be mountable to one of opposing first and second sidewalls of a closet;
• a first shelf trim configured to be coupled to the shelf, the first shelf trim configured to be positioned along the first side edge portion of the shelf such that the first shelf trim extends substantially over the top surface of the first side edge portion of the shelf and substantially over the front edge of the first side edge portion of the shelf;
• a back channel configured to be mountable along a back wall of the closet to receive a back edge of the shelf, wherein the back channel is configured for receiving the back edge of the shelf therein and includes openings to permit the use of fasteners to couple the back channel to the back wall of the closet;
• and
• a support structure having first and second end surfaces perpendicular to one another, the first end surface configured to be coupled to a shelf bottom surface and the second end surface configured to be coupled to the back wall of the closet.

A closet storage system comprising:

• a shelf including opposing first and second side edge portions each having a top surface, a front edge, a back edge, and a bottom surface;
• a first side bracket including a shelf support surface configured for receiving the first side edge portion of the shelf thereon, the first side bracket configured to directly abut and be mountable to one of opposing first and second sidewalls of a closet;
• a first shelf trim configured to extend substantially over the top surface of the first side edge portion of the shelf and substantially over the front edge of the first side edge portion of the shelf,
• a means for coupling the first shelf trim to the shelf,
• a back channel configured to be mountable along a back wall of the closet to receive a back edge of the shelf, wherein the back channel is configured for receiving the back edge of the shelf therein and includes openings to permit the use of fasteners to couple the back channel to the back wall of the closet;
• and
• a support structure having first and second end surfaces perpendicular to one another, the first end surface configured to be coupled to a shelf bottom surface and the second end surface configured to be coupled to the back wall of the closet.
