Abstract
A collapsible beverage insulator and methods of using the same are disclosed. The collapsible beverage insulator can have one or more collapsible zones, each of which can move between a collapsed state and an expanded state, optionally including partially collapsed states in-between. The collapsible beverage insulator can have a first end with a first opening sized to receive common beverage containers. The collapsible beverage insulator can be separated from the beverage container to be used in games. The collapsible beverage insulator can be tossed and the way the collapsible beverage insulator lands (e.g., on an end, on a particular end, or on its side) and how the collapsible zones collapse can be used to determine points to be awarded to the player.
Claims30
A collapsible sleeve comprising:
- a first end having a first opening;
- a second end;
- a sidewall coupling the first end and the second end, the first end, the second end, and the sidewall defining an interior volume, the sidewall including a collapsible zone being moveable between a collapsed state and an expanded state, wherein movement of the collapsible zone from the expanded state to the collapsed state decreases the interior volume, wherein the collapsible zone of the sidewall includes:
- a first wall portion having a first wall thickness and a first outer diameter;
- a second wall portion having a second wall thickness, the second wall portion having a second outer diameter that is smaller than the first outer diameter, the second wall portion located axially spaced apart from the first wall portion when the collapsible zone is in an expanded state, the second wall portion located at least partially within the first inner diameter of the first wall portion when the collapsible zone is in a collapsed state;
- a third wall portion having a third wall thickness, the third wall portion having a third outer diameter that is smaller than the second outer diameter, the third wall portion located axially spaced apart from the first wall portion and the second wall portion when the collapsible zone is in an expanded state, the third wall portion located at least partially within the first inner diameter of the first wall portion when the collapsible zone is in a collapsed state;
- a first transition zone coupling the first wall portion to the second wall portion, the first transition zone having a first transition wall thickness that is smaller than the first wall thickness and the second wall thickness;
- a second transition zone coupling the second wall portion to the third wall portion, the second transition zone having a second transition wall thickness that is smaller than the second wall thickness and the third wall thickness;
- and
- a third transition zone coupled to the third wall portion opposite the second transition zone.
