Liquid dispenser having pump cover and filter

A liquid dispenser, comprising:

• a container configured to store liquid and having a bottom and an upper opening;
• a base to support the container;
• a pump provided at the bottom of the container, the pump having an inlet to suction liquid stored in the container, and an outlet to discharge the liquid;
• a lid seated on the container to close the upper opening;
• a channel configured to transfer liquid discharged from the outlet of the pump to an upper surface of the lid;
• a cover provided over the pump to cover the pump and at least a portion of the bottom of the container, the cover having a hole through which at least one of the channel or the outlet of the pump is inserted;
• and
• a strainer to surround the pump and including:
• an upper rim contacting the lid;
• a lower rim seated over the bottom of the container;
• and
• a plurality of holes formed between the upper rim and the lower rim,
• wherein the cover includes:
• a flat disc seated on the bottom of the container and having an interior opening, and
• a cap defining a cavity to receive at least a portion of the pump, the cap including an upper wall adjacent to an upper surface of the pump, and extensions that extend vertically between an inner edge of the opening of the flat disc and an outer edge of the upper wall to define gaps to allow liquid to flow through the cap and to the pump,
• wherein the strainer surrounds the cover and the channel,
• wherein the extensions are positioned to overlap the pump in a horizontal direction,
• wherein the extensions are positioned to overlap first holes of the plurality of holes formed in the strainer in the horizontal direction,
• wherein the upper rim is located higher than a top of the cover,
• wherein the lid includes:
• a filter assembly having a filter and an inclined wall provided on the container;
• and
• a dispensing assembly provided on the filter assembly and having a hole communicating with the pipe,
• wherein
• the filter assembly has an inner opening,
• a flange extends vertically from the inner opening,
• the dispensing assembly has a protruding portion that is inserted into an upper opening of the flange, and
• the upper rim of the strainer is inserted into the inner opening of the filter assembly, and
• wherein the flange is positioned to overlap second holes of the plurality of holes formed in the strainer in the horizontal direction.
