## Abstract

Disclosed herein are related to a first device to communicate with an access point and a second device. In one aspect, the first device communicates with the access point during the first time interval through a first wireless communication. In one aspect, the first device prevents communication with the access point during the second time interval. In one aspect, the first device communicates, as a soft access point, with a second device during the third time interval within the second time interval through a second wireless communication, the third time interval shorter than the second time interval.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method comprising:
determining, by a first device, a first time interval and then determining, by the first device, a second time interval;
communicating, by the first device, with an access point during the first time interval through a first wireless communication;
preventing, by the first device, communication with the access point during the second time interval; and
communicating, by the first device as a soft access point, with a second device during a third time interval within the second time interval through a second wireless communication, the third time interval shorter than the second time interval.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein
the first interval is reserved as a target wake time (TWT) period, and
the second interval is reserved as a quiet time period (QTP).

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein communicating with the second device during the third interval comprises:
receiving, by the first device, sensor measurements indicating a location and an orientation of the second device during the third time interval; and
transmitting, by the first device, image data of artificial reality corresponding to the location and the orientation of the second device during the third time interval.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, comprising:
transmitting, by the first device, a frame indicating the second time interval to the access point, the access point configured to prevent communication with the first device during the second time interval, in response to the frame.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, comprising:
determining, by the first device, a fourth time interval to prevent communication between the first device and the second device;
determining, by the first device, a fifth time interval within the fourth time interval for communication between the first device and a third device; and
communicating, by the first device as the soft access point, with the third device during the fifth time interval.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The method of claim 5, wherein the third time interval and the fourth time interval are separate from each other.

### Claim 7 (depends on 5)

The method of claim 5, comprising:
communicating, by the first device, with the access point during a sixth time interval after the fourth time interval.

### Claim 8

A first device comprising:
a wireless interface; and
one or more processors coupled to the wireless interface, the one or more processors configured to:
determine a first time interval and then determine a second time interval;
cause the wireless interface to communicate with an access point during the first time interval through a first wireless communication;
prevent communication with the access point during the second time interval; and
cause the wireless interface to communicate, as a soft access point, with a second device during a third time interval within the second time interval through a second wireless communication, the third time interval shorter than the second time interval.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The first device of claim 8, wherein:
the first interval is reserved as a target wake time (TWT) period, and
the second interval is reserved as a quiet time period (QTP).

### Claim 10 (depends on 8)

The first device of claim 8, wherein the one or more processors cause the wireless interface to:
receive sensor measurements indicating a location and an orientation of the second device during the third time interval, and
transmit image data of artificial reality corresponding to the location and the orientation of the second device during the third time interval.

### Claim 11 (depends on 8)

The first device of claim 8, wherein the one or more processors are configured to:
cause the wireless interface to transmit a frame indicating the second time interval to the access point, the access point configured to prevent communication with the first device during the second time interval, in response to the frame.

### Claim 12 (depends on 8)

The first device of claim 8, wherein the one or more processors are configured to:
determine a fourth time interval to prevent communication between the first device and the second device;
determine a fifth time interval within the fourth time interval for communication between the first device and a third device; and
cause the wireless interface to communicate, as the soft access point, with the third device during the fifth time interval.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The first device of claim 12, wherein the third time interval and the fourth time interval are separate from each other.

### Claim 14 (depends on 12)
