## Abstract

A wireless device receives RRC messages comprising configuration parameters of multicast transmissions, wherein the configuration parameters indicate CFRs comprising a number of resource blocks within a bandwidth part of a cell, a RNTI, and a value of a maximum MIMO layer indication for transmission via the CFRs. The wireless device receives, via the CFRs and based on the RNTI, a group common DCI indicating a multicast transmission of a TB, and the multicast transmission of the TB with a number of MIMO layers equal to or less than the value.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method, comprising:
receiving radio resource control (RRC) messages comprising configuration parameters of multicast transmissions, wherein the configuration parameters indicate:
common frequency resources (CFRs) comprising a number of resource blocks within a bandwidth part of a cell;
a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI); and
a value of a maximum multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) layer indication for transmission via the CFRs;
receiving, via the CFRs and based on the RNTI, a group common downlink control information (DCI) indicating a multicast transmission of a transport block (TB); and
receiving the multicast transmission of the TB with a number of MIMO layers equal to or less than the value of the maximum MIMO layer indication.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the multicast transmission of the TB is received via the CFRs within the bandwidth part.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the value of the maximum MIMO layer indication is for the multicast transmissions via the CFRs within the bandwidth part.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the bandwidth part comprises a first number of resource blocks, wherein the first number is greater than or equal to the number of resource blocks associated with the CFRs within the bandwidth part.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the value of the maximum MIMO layer indication is a first value, and wherein the RRC messages further comprise a second value of the maximum MIMO layer indication for the bandwidth part.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The method of claim 5, wherein the RNTI is a first RNTI, wherein the RRC messages further comprise a second RNTI for unicast transmissions, and wherein the second value is for the unicast transmissions via the bandwidth part.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein the DCI is a first DCI, the method further comprising receiving, via the bandwidth part and based on the second RNTI, a second DCI indicating a unicast transmission of a second TB.

### Claim 8

A wireless device, comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory coupled to the one or more processors and storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
receive radio resource control (RRC) messages comprising configuration parameters of multicast transmissions, wherein the configuration parameters indicate:
common frequency resources (CFRs) comprising a number of resource blocks within a bandwidth part of a cell;
a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI); and
a value of a maximum multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) layer indication for transmission via the CFRs;
receive, via the CFRs and based on the RNTI, a group common downlink control information (DCI) indicating a multicast transmission of a transport block (TB); and
receive the multicast transmission of the TB with a number of MIMO layers equal to or less than the value of the maximum MIMO layer indication.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The wireless device of claim 8, wherein the multicast transmission of the TB is received via the CFRs within the bandwidth part.

### Claim 10 (depends on 8)

The wireless device of claim 8, wherein the value of the maximum MIMO layer indication is for the multicast transmissions via the CFRs within the bandwidth part.

### Claim 11 (depends on 8)

The wireless device of claim 8, wherein the bandwidth part comprises a first number of resource blocks, wherein the first number is greater than or equal to the number of resource blocks associated with the CFRs within the bandwidth part.

### Claim 12 (depends on 8)

The wireless device of claim 8, wherein the value of the maximum MIMO layer indication is a first value, and wherein the RRC messages further comprise a second value of the maximum MIMO layer indication for the bandwidth part.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The wireless device of claim 12, wherein the RNTI is a first RNTI, wherein the RRC messages further comprise a second RNTI for unicast transmissions, and wherein the second value is for the unicast transmissions via the bandwidth part.

### Claim 14 (depends on 3)

The wireless device of claim 3, wherein the DCI is a first DCI, and the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the wireless device to receive, via the bandwidth part and based on the second RNTI, a second DCI indicating a unicast transmission of a second TB.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The wireless device of claim 14, wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the wireless device to receive the unicast transmission of the second TB with a second number of MIMO layers equal to or less than the second value.
