## Abstract

A reduction in concentration due to a change in an emotion is inhibited. A change in an emotion of the human is suitably reduced. Part (in particular, an eye or an eye and its vicinity) or the whole of a user's face is detected, a feature of the user's face is extracted from data on the detected part or whole of the face, and an emotion of the user is estimated from the extracted feature of the face. In the case where the estimated emotion is an emotion that might reduce concentration, for example, a stimulus is applied to the sense of sight, the sense of hearing, the sense of touch, the sense of smell, or the like of the user to recover the concentration of the user.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An image display device comprising:
an image display unit comprising a light-emitting element; and
a subject detection unit comprising a sensor element,
wherein the light-emitting element comprises a first conductive layer, an EL layer over the first conductive layer, and a third conductive layer over the EL layer,
wherein the sensor element comprises a second conductive layer, an active layer over the second conductive layer, and the third conductive layer over the active layer, and
wherein both the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer are provided over and in contact with an insulating layer.

### Claim 2

An image display device comprising:
an image display unit comprising a light-emitting element;
a subject detection unit comprising a sensor element;
a first insulating layer over the light-emitting element and the sensor element; and
a coloring layer overlapping with the light-emitting element with the first insulating layer therebetween,
wherein the light-emitting element comprises a first conductive layer, an EL layer over the first conductive layer, and a third conductive layer over the EL layer,
wherein the sensor element comprises a second conductive layer, an active layer over the second conductive layer, and the third conductive layer over the active layer, and
wherein both the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer are provided over and in contact with a second insulating layer.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The image display device according to claim 2, further comprising:
a filter for blocking part of light entering the sensor element,
wherein the filter overlaps with the sensor element with the first insulating layer therebetween.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The image display device according to claim 3,
wherein both the coloring layer and the filter are provided over and in contact with the first insulating layer.
