Abstract
A scaffolding material for culturing a stem cell, which contains a synthetic resin, and has a nitrogen content of the synthetic resin of 0.1% by mass or more and 10% by mass or less. According to the scaffolding material for stem cell culture, the scaffolding material can have suitable hydrophilicity and strength, high fixation of stem cells after seeding, and highly efficient cell proliferation.
Claims18
A method for culturing a cell, comprising a step of culturing a human pluripotent stem cell on a scaffolding material in a serum-free medium containing no feeder cell or adhesive protein, wherein the scaffolding material comprises a synthetic resin, the synthetic resin comprises a polyvinyl acetal resin, and the synthetic resin has a nitrogen content of 0.1% by mass or more and 10% by mass or less.
